Organics Bio Block is a specially "formulated microbial product, designed to clean, remove odours and degrade organic, material in a completely natural way in urinals and channels. It is formulated with a pleasant scent which is released after each flush.
Description
The microbial strains in the product produce a wide range of enzymes which help to degrade organic waste' materials. These microbial strains are naturally occurring and efficiently degrade waste materials such as uric acid which otherwise forms crystalline deposits and produces odours as it decomposes. The microbes degrade any organic material present so that smells are eliminated. Organicas Bio Block also contains a blend of surfactants designed to penetrate into deposits. This also helps the microbial action by making a greater surface area available for microbial attack. Each flush releases microbial strains into the water flow so that they are continually dealing with organic waste materials as they pass through the system.

The Bio Block should be replaced when exhausted. This will vary depending on the frequency of flushing. The microbes released from the Bio Block are continually breaking down waste materials it should be possible to reduce the frequency of flushing so that overall water usage can be reduced and thus produce further savings.
Since the product is biological in nature it is important that traditional bleach based cleaners are not used as these will have a detrimental effect on product performance. A suitable biological toilet cleaner is the Organicas product Toilet Clean.
